Sometimes if feels like entering Mordor as I push the cart into the haphazard maze of the produce department. Today's jaunt to load up on goodies for Memorial Day held a pleasant surprise for me.
Thank you, Joe. You'e just made my day. It's true of us all, isn't it. Our presence and words cause ripples. Lately, the Bad Wolf was whispering that i was causing problems. Your comment now and the produce manager's memory of our old encounter helped dispel that. The Good Wolf is licking her lips from a tasty feast.
That in particular was truly astounding. I have to remember that the older workers at Walmart are the bedrock and stay for years. You know what's weird is that I've lived in towns (Truckee and Minden) where the populations is around 4500K. Not exactly Mayberry, but I only dare learning names of a few people because Americans are so migratory. Well, that's fodder for another story, isn't it.
Sue, you make our day for so many of us. You'll never know the reach of your beautiful brain.

Aww! Such a sweet story, Sue. Thanks for sharing it with us. It is nice to know some of our comments and compliments hit home and are remembered.
