Beautiful words. I had bern missing the birds for a long time. Now spent, $3700 on hearing aids and I can hear them again. So wonderful!

Funny how we always think the wisteria is dead. Every year I have less faith. Then, boom! -- back it comes in all its glory. You captured the feeling here, Sue. Lovely. Then you sent me scurrying in search of the sage thrashers' song. I found it here: he sure is enthusiastic!

You and my friend, Ray, both found this link. I edited the post to include it near the bottom. A good attempt at capturing this bird's song, but "MY" sage thrasher was a Pavoratti compared to this little guy in the video. Then a gain, maybe it's because I could hear my thrasher in person. Animals voices are always louder and more dynamic when heard "live." After all, they're calling across the miles for whoever's going to be listening. Anyway, thank you for your contribution to the comment section.
