Oh, these unforgettable moments... our children teach us so much... and then they grow up. I love the tiny bits of rhyme here, Sue, and the line, "She puts the stone in my hand and turns back to her work."
Thank you, Sharron. I was happy to be able to encompass a bad-day experience into this poem. You know, writing poetry is really therapeutic; but then you probably already know that. The flash fiction you've inspired has not only been fun but effective.
Oh, I need your opinion on something. Is it appropriate to mention the Faith in our articles, even if it's just a line or adage; such as, "little by little, day by day?" I'm wondering if that would create some sort of problem or disrespect of the Faith?
Faith is integral and we should never be afraid to acknowledge it. I often refer to Spirit or the Universe. Sometimes I write God. Authenticity is important. Being true to your beliefs means never being ashamed of them or second-guessing.
Hmmm. I don't see why it is any problem, if your quotations are meant to inspire. As long as you don't seem to proselytize, I can't see it turning away any subscribers. We all need inspiration, goodness knows.

As Shoghi Effendi would say... "A prescription from the Divine Physician".
Indeed.

Thank you, Fran. That's a good reminder of what our writings are all about.
