Thank you. Yes, we love living in "cowland." There's something peaceful and calming about pastures full of cows. Yesterday while driving by one of our pastures, I spotted about three bald eagles feasting on a calf afterbirth. There must've been plenty around on the ground because there were lots of new-born calves around. One of those signs of spring, although I agree with you. March and April are both soul-killers when it comes to expectations of warm weather. When we lived in Truckee, there were lots of late springs. One winter lasted into late May and left a very deep pack of ice at the entrance to our equestrian center barn. The manager was really depressed. How could she open the summer season until that melted. And it was on the shady side of the barn.
