There's a Lot to Being a Dad
My husband, Jeff, has been a great dad for our daughter. Now he's a great "Papa" to the grands. Here are some of the highlights of his journey along this critical path.

That first year with a first baby has its challenges and adjustments, but Jeff aced them all without so much as a flinch.

Helping her through early tribulations: showing her how to wash dishes, plugging up that scary big hole in the floor with a bathtub, or extracting a stubborn tooth or infected ear stud. He always knows how to fix things.

Teasing her pouts by comparing The Lip; giving comfort when a real hurt comes along.

Sharing fun times and those hard tasks it takes to build her own life.

Celebrating those big achievements that become the highlights of her life.

Chillin' in the snow or on the couch.
We called it "tag team parenting," even though we were only herding one child. Truth be told, he was saving me and Val from some of my questionable parenting missteps along the way. He was the adult supervision in the room.
Thank you, Jeff, and Happy Father's Day.

A sweet sharing about your husband as a father, indeed.
