A Fifty-Word Challenge! Accepted!

Sharron Bassano of Leaves enjoyed my email telling her about my cane I used when dealing with an aching hip. She challenged me to write a fifty-word story and include my photo of the cane. Here it is:

Pimped-Out Cane: A Fifty-Word Story:

Supporting her deteriorating hip was a literal pain. Using a cane was capitulation. She was too young and stubborn to admit she was a decrepit old lady. Then her husband gave her a really fun birthday gift: a bicycle horn, a bicycle bell, and streamers to hang from the handle.
